Rooms With A View

Ron was approached  by his friend, Albert Hadley, to design a small vignette for the Southport Congregational Church's "Rooms With A View" charity. He came up with the concept of "Metro North to Southport".  He was inspired by the idea of a person living in the suburbs but not wanting to miss out on going to the theatre to see a show. Adorning the walls with prints by the artist Al Hirschfeld, whose drawings were seen on the cover of the Arts & Leisure section of the New York Times, gave the small room  a piece of New York culture and arts in one's own home.
